THERAPY THAT
MAKES AN IMPACT
MEMORY
ELTJES, PT, ATC, LAT
Memory Eltjes, PT, ATC, LAT grew up on a farm in South Dakota. Her basketball talents led her to play on a scholarship for Northern State University where she earned a B.S. in biology and minor in athletic training. Memory’s intent was to continue to medical school, but during her time at Northern State University two of her good friends suffered ACL injuries and they needed a ride to therapy. Memory’s kindhearted personality spoke up and she offered to take them to therapy as they got back to game form. That kindhearted gesture exposed her to physical therapy, and at that moment Memory knew physical therapy was the profession for her!
After graduating from Northern she moved to Iowa to attend Des Moines University’s physical therapy program. She graduated in 2003 and began helping patients get back to living. Memory has never stopped learning and after school continued training in soft tissue and myofascial techniques.
After 10 years of treating patients, Memory decided to open her own clinic in Adel, IA where Maximum Physical Therapy was born. Memory is passionate about helping others get back to living their best lives without the limitations. In Memory’s free time she enjoys doing CrossFit and chasing around her 5 children.
